Coco Wu is a visual artist and a Grade 10 student at Collingwood School. Since her early days at Collingwood, Coco has delved into various artistic avenues, immersing herself in arts courses and electing art as her focus. She has been taking art classes since Grade 4 and is currently completing Studio Art 10 and participating in the fashion design club. Coco is on a journey to explore different art styles, admitting to grappling with finding a consistent one. She says that her drawings “look like they’ve been done by completely different people.” Coco views it as an opportunity for growth and exploration. Among its many functions, art enables us to explore and communicate ideas visually. Recently, Coco has been infusing her art with emotion, moving away from generic character sketches.
