Sanha is one of Collingwood’s most well recognized photographers. He knows how to use a camera with an expertise that he has attained through five years of hands-on learning. Sanha picked up photography as a hobby in grade seven because his parents urged him to pick up an art. I can only imagine how thankful Sanha must be of his parents for pushing him to pursue art. This passion has also led Sanha to the wonderful art of film. He has turned his heart to cinematography and wishes to explore this at university.

Sanha explained that his favourite style of photography is portraiture because it interests him to capture a personality in a single frame. According to him, two components that any great photo has are colour and composition. Sanha admires the works of director Wes Anderson for his creative use of colour and for the unique way in which he composes his images.
Sanha tells aspiring photographers to copy the works of others in order to find their own unique style. He also advises patience, as one won’t get the shot on the first try.
Currently, Sanha is trying to become well rounded in all forms of visual art so that he can build his portfolio for universities and art schools. At the end of the interview, Sanha wanted to make sure that his mantra was included in the article: “Keep Calm and Prime Time”.
