Molly and I are both proud ‘Lifers’, having been at Collingwood together since Kindergarten. She is still reminiscent of the girl I met nine years ago; she can be exuberant and full of energy, bouncing off the walls, or can be more subdued, reflecting her alter calm and studious persona.

Although Molly has only performed in a few school plays, she evokes the stage presence of someone who has been acting for years. Molly enjoys acting simply because she loves getting into character, being able to embody a completely different person than her self. Notably, she has played Jan in the school’s musical rendition of Grease, played Miep in The Diary of Anne Frank, and played a journalist in the Laramie Project. Her most treasured of these three roles was that of Jan because she felt most relatable to her character; seemingly clueless but actually has her act together. This defines everyone really - Molly just embraces it outwardly.
Beyond the scope of her performing, Molly enjoys indulging in films. Her favorite movie is Zoolander and her favorite actor is Will Ferrell, for she likes to laugh and values the importance of humor. Her advice to aspiring actors is simple – be yourself, don’t be shy, and don’t be afraid to make a fool of yourself!
