​Laura Alonzo and Sally Karimi organized a zero-waste community block activity, where they utilized natural objects such as branches, leaves, sticks, stones, water tanks, artificial plants, and string LED lights. They encouraged students to take photos with their cell phones, manipulating the exposure to capture creative images that evoke the beauty of nature, a jungle-like atmosphere, or abstract concepts.

The underlying message was to promote mindfulness in everyday activities, highlighting the importance of reducing waste and making the most of existing materials and resources instead of constantly creating new things.
