Last year with a grade 9 class, we did a letter exchange with a homeless association in Vancouver downtown La Boussole. Each student had a letter partner and during the year we exchanged letters, drawings and poems. Very strong relationhips were established. It was fantastic experience. The content was so strong that La Boussole decided to make it a published book. Since September I have been working with a writer to compose the book. It's out and it will be distributed in the French community in British Columbia. WOW. And this is the end of one project, the beginning of another. La boussole will use the book to create a play that will combine actors and beneficiaries of la Boussole. The play will be performed during la Semaine de la francophonie.
